Masonry reinforcement for Waterman’s Square, Penge

Waterman’s Square in Penge, South East London was constructed in 1840–41 as a chapel and alms houses for retired Thames watermen, their wives and widows.

Godden Structural were contracted to carry out repairs to the clock towers of the chapel. The repairs consisted of providing masonry reinforcement to the interior and exterior of both towers using 6mm helical wire.
