Godden Structural were asked by Sutton Council to investigate the possibility of using the heli-pile to provide a foundation solution to be used on the replacement bathroom pod scheme on the St Helier Estate, Carlshalton.

After completing a successful pilot, Godden Structural were awarded the contract to provide the foundation solution for the new pre-fabricated pods.

The contract was in the form of a 10 year partnership with Sutton Council. The speed of the installations were staggering averaging 5 completed units per day. Previously the replacement pods had been built on traditional concrete strip foundations with only one unit being completed per week!
